Steering:

The steering is controlled by one M motor.

Motors:
Each wheel is powered from the 4 XL motors.
This truck needs to have 4 XL motors in order to have enough torque to go up steep hills and up rocks. Having the 4 motors comes at a cost: in order for them to work as efficiently as possible on this truck, they need to be powered by 2 battery boxes, which makes this truck very heavy.

Suspension:
This 8×8 has Tatra style suspension.

Control:
The truck uses three receivers to function: one receiver for two motors and the other as well. There is only one receiver that has one motor and that is the steering.

Chassis:
The chassis itself had to be made very strong in order to withstand all the external forces of torsion and bending. As the chassis is now, it can whithstand almost anything.

Transmission:
The transmission has been designed for high torque. This means that everything has to be very tough, and gears can not slip under high load. This allows the truck to have high torque but also high speed. The wheels have a planetary gear reduction, which helps relieve the load from the U joints, which can break under very high load.

Performance:
This truck has been tested under harsh conditions, to make sure that it can perform as good as possible. It is capable of climbing a 60 degree slope, and can withstand a 45 degree side slope. The capabilities of this truck are much better than the original full scale Tatra.
